☆ Tenth Wish ☆ - [Accidental Video]

[It's early. Too early. Norma groans as the sunlight from outside hits her smack in the face, and she squeezes her eyes shut as she curls up in her bed, putting a pillow over her head to block the light. Ugh...no...not yet! Go away, sun, she still wants to sleep in for a few more hours! It's too early to get up on a Saturday morning. Yet, even at Norma's best, she cannot beat the blazing sun and grunts as she sits up in bed, grumbling and flinging the blankets off herself. Unknown to the young teenager, she actually left her journal on her bed last night, and the action of swinging her sheets off knocks the journal against the wall, having it fall open and immediately start recording. It's a shame she's still half asleep right now, too, otherwise she would have actually noticed that happening. Oh well.

Norma sniffs, climbing out of bed and scratching her untidy bedhead, looking properly frazzled after a long, wondrous night of sleep. If only she could still be within its majestic arms... Whatever, maybe she'll take a nap today, after lunch or something. As she contemplates such things, and heads toward the bathroom to wash up, she stops in front of her mirror, staring at her reflection.]

Mmh... [Shifting positions, Norma raises a brow and puffs out her lower lip.] Huuh...oooh... [And after taking a step closer to the mirror, she smooths down the front of her shirt, running her hands over her chest, watching her reflection and how her little breasts just barely peek out from the tightened material. Norma sighs, then lets the shirt go and grumbles angrily.]

Another year...and no progress at all. Come on, you guys! We're gonna have some serious issues here pretty soon. I mean, I feed you, I water you, I'm even talking to you right now! The least you could give me back is a few inches! I'm not talking G-Girl level, but get real! This [Yeah, she's pretty much grabbing her boobs right now, glaring at her reflection.] is not okay. You guys gotta get a move on, I mean it. I'm not gonna wait around forever. You've got til next year to grow at least three inches, got it? Three inches or we're over.

[Cross is already up at this time and hen he see's this video...well, lets just say he gets the complete wrong impression on what this girl is talking about.]

Maybe you just need to feed them something else?

[He thinks she's talking about plants.]

[O.... k then. Daria's just going to assume this was not broadcast intentionally. It won't stop her from pointing it out in a rather embarrassing manner.]

[Well, this brings back some old memories from home...]

[A pause, and then...]

...Are you even awake?

[Well, thankfully for Kat, by turning off the video function, she won't have to see Norma jump a good foot or two into the air and nearly topple into her desk, but she'll certainly hear the loud thunk and the much louder string of curse words soon enough before Norma snatches her journal up and practically wheezes into it.]

How long've you been there?

[NGGGH, as if having this broadcast and caught by two females was bad enough, Norma's turning absolutely scarlet when she hears a male voice from the journal, covering her face in shame. Ugh...h-how much did he see?]

WILL YOU ALL JUST SHUT IT?! This wasn't supposed to be broadcast to everyone, jeez!

Then stop watching! [Norma's practically hissing and spitting like an angry cat at this point. She's gonna be hoarse before she even gets dressed and has breakfast.] I didn't mean for the stupid thing to turn on! Let alone record that okay?!

[Daria fails to take the hint.]

But now that it has, everyone using these things has seen it. That's why you'll never get me in front of this unless there's absolutely no choice.

[Et tu, JJ? Norma's already comparison to a fire engine, how much more red can she get?! She groans, covering her face and shaking her head before she explodes once more. Still going on about it?! This is a serious issue!]

You've got your problems, I've got mine, okay?! I didn't make fun of how shrimpy you are for a while, JJ, so you just zip it! Besides, this is a serious issue for a woman, okay?! Be a little more sensitive! [HUFF.]

So what happens when it's "over?" Does that mean you'll shave them off?

Uh huh. Good luck with that, sister. Take it from today that either by dumb luck or your own mistake, these things tend to find a way to make you miserable.

[Norma can't think of anything right now, but she's sure she or others she knows have been caught by the journal.]

I'll match my way with cameras against dumb luck any day.

[By which she means she never goes near cameras at all, so there's a drastically reduced chance of one accidentally turning itself on around her.]

Um. It's not really my business, but now that we've gotten this far... Why do they need to grow anyway? [No, really. She's pretty sure bust size isn't necessary for a long, healthy, or even happy life.]

[JJ, pls.]

WH--NO, OF COURSE NOT! jeez, are you crazy?! Talk about ow for one thing! And totally gross for another! Weirdo! And...a-and I dunno! Jeez, I guess I'd just not take care of 'em anymore! Show them a lesson or something! Why do you wanna know anyway, huh?!

[SIGH.]

I'm just curious, that's all. After all, you're the only person I know who treats their boobs like tulips.

[Sensitivity, what is that?]

[Well, Jay's not the only one who's curious. His little black kitten catches the movement coming from within the journal and hops onto the desk. It stares into the journal, placing its paw over the camera.]

Wha...hey! [Jay quickly snatches the kitten, pulling it off the desk. He really wasn't trying to show anyone that he even has a pet now.]

I didn't give you permission to climb up here!

[Alright, that's about the funniest thing Yuffie has heard over the journals.

She might be flat too, but it doesn't bother her one bit. So don't mind the burst of laughter coming from a Yuffie that's holding her stomach from all the laughing.]

[...oh wow, so much secondhand embarrassment. A quick glance over replies informs Vivi that Norma's already more than aware that her journal had broadcast that, so she instead opts for trying to reassure her without directly mentioning the previous awkward display.]

I think you look lovely just the way you are, Norma-san.

[The thunk worries Kat, but the stranger's voice comes out of the book again so it's ok.]

Er...long enough?

[Her tone is awkward to say the least. She feels bad for even answering now.]

(Oh my..... Talk about awkwardness. Nevermind the fact that Leanne doesn't understand a thing about boobs but having someone like that?)

I am sure that once you grow older then they will grow as well. (Cause welp! She looks like a nestling because of not having boobs so therefore she must be one. Logic, Leanne has it.)

[Fenimore is also reluctantly woken by the sun this morning, although it wasn't quite so long before she was planning to get up. So, rather than getting ready to start the day, she instead reaches over, flips open her journal, and goes through it somewhat lazily to see if anyone is talking about something interesting. (It's weird how this has gotten normal.)

When she comes across Norma's recording, she starts to get up. Maybe she can just knock on the wall between their rooms and get her attention that way. But, before she can do so, she hears Norma's rant.

...Oh dear. That...that's not good. This requires immediate intervention. If she were aware that people had already informed her by the journal, she might have at least taken the time to brush her hair, but, since she hadn't stopped to check, she scurries over to the bathroom doorway with her own bedhead, a little red from secondhand embarrassment.]

Uh...Norma, you...might want to check your journal.

[(It's probably not helping at the moment that, since her nightgown is thinner than the layers that Fenimore usually wears, it's more obvious than usual that she doesn't have the same problems that Norma is worrying about this morning, even if she is nowhere near Grune's level.)]

[Not much apparently. Even if he did, he has no context as to what she even means.]

Huuuuh? Wait, I don't get it. You were concerned about your plants weren't you? I just wanted to help.

I don't think most people would considering washing their boobs to be watering them. They aren't plants. And I don't think they'd just. Absorb the water.

[That'd be kind of horrifying actually.]
