[Since regaining her memories, Grune has been avoiding House 34 as much as she can. With Norma and Fenimore as upset as they are by the change in her demeanor, she believes it to be for the best.

However, she cannot stay away entirely--she is the only one who knows how to care for her indoor garden, and so from time to time, she returns just long enough to ensure the continuing health of her plants.

She enters the house quietly, to avoid disturbing its residents and to avoid calling attention to herself.]

[It's perhaps when Grune enters the house that Norma tries to exit the premises. She has her bag crammed full with clothes and other items she needs for daily use slung over her shoulder, and a few books and notepads tucked under her arm. She doesn't plan on staying too long, really, but...well, she kinda has a lot to think about.

It's only because she thought the others weren't home that the sound of footsteps startles her a little, and Norma nearly jumps and drops her things when she looks up to see Grune. Oh...o-oh man. This is going to get real awkward real quick, isn't it? Oh how Norma hates herself for the unease she's already feeling, and beats herself over the head for it mentally. Can't...can't she just get along with this Grune? Is it really that hard? She's still Grune!

Of course I keep it locked away! And with the safety on, besides. I think I know how to look after a kid after this long.

I just keep it with me when I'm out in case in case something happens. It's not like I can use any of that weird magic stuff the rest of you have. If not being from some kind of medieval fantasy makes me screwy, then I am screwy!

[Norma is going to end up shaking someone by the end of the day, isn't she? She bristles after being taken aback by Fenimore's sudden burst of...whatever it was. Excuse me? Medieval fantasy? Weird magic stuff? Who the hell does FenFen think she is saying all those demeaning things right to Norma's face like that?! Taking a bold step forward, Norma's eyebrows knit together, and she frowns.]

And just who has been house healer for however long I've been in this place, huh?! I'm not exactly obliged to make sure you or anyone else doesn't bleed out at the first opportunity the Malno-nos get to stab us in the back you know! And don't think me or any other crystal eren wouldn't be pretty darn useful in a fight, you--! [She snorts, then backs off to cross her arms and sneer.]

Jeez, if I didn't know any better, I'd think you didn't change at all, FenFen. Maybe a few new gadgets, but you've still got the same attitude you've always had.

((Tobi likes to watch the hubbub of Luceti. It was all he really HAD to do. The quest for domination of the world had been put on hold--but who was to say he couldn't one day dominate this world?

[Thankfully, the faster they go, the faster they finish, and Norma herself is even out of breath and practically falls over once it's done. She wheezes out a laugh, leaning heavily on Raven's side and hugging his arm tight. Dude, you are the coolest old guy she's ever met (not counting Marco)! Gasping for breath, the girl grins and uses poor Raven as a brace, to keep herself upright. Uuuh...her legs feel like jelly.]

[Success! Now Norma can tack on phoenix and dragon rider on her resume. This is awesome! And hopefully Toothy is a bit less snarky than the old bird she knows, and can kind of cure her of her fear of leaving solid ground. She really is a person of the land through and through.]

Yeah, well...get used to it. [Sorry to say, and be mean, but that's just the way it is. Luceti's a crummy place and there's not much to do about it but make the best of it somehow. [The moment Adele plays those first few notes, Norma perks right up. She knows this one! Her mother and father took her to an opera on the Mainland where this song was used in it, and she bothered the heck out of them singing these notes over and over again and pretending she was the villain of the play. ...Never again did they see that opera.]

Yeah! I know this one! I used to love this song when I was really, really little! [She steps back and jumps onto the keys, doing the same three notes, a huge grin spreading on her face. After the initial three, it's pretend time all over again, and Norma's the villain in that opera, and thus she cackles.] Fools! You'll never stop this dynamic duo! For the most part, Norma's been using windows to get through her house, though other members of the house have been moving about with little incident, so...]

[Norma just barely finds this in her journal some time later on. She's barely touched the damn thing recently - her head too muddled with a number of annoying things lately to even bother with the new annoyances Luceti had to offer. That and she just doesn't care much about anything right now, really. But this once, she finally opens her journal, and finds Mihawk's call to her.

...Fantastic. Just what she needed when she's very much not in the mood for Luceti's annoyances. Heaving a large and long sigh, Norma rubs her face - she's so tired. So, so tired of everything right now. Really, she thought she kicked the idiot hard enough out of bed hard enough, after she found herself wound around him as an adult, to have the message sink in that she wasn't happy with him. Not happy, but she still has to deal with him. Bleh, might as well get it over with.]

It lives in the moment, and seeing Fenimore's eyes widen in fear is funny.]

She's still getting used to the newer, far different clothes and styles of Luceti, but jeans and pants have become some of her favorite things ever. Spotting her date isn't exactly a challenge, and she snorts, stopping herself from laughing to hard. Good lord, what in the world is he even wearing?!]

[ Kakashi really doesn't see the problem with helping a girl out. Besides, she seems stuck, and he certainly wouldn't want to end up in a compromising situation that might require having to kiss her or something worse-- like pushing her up against the railing and having his way with her, which has more or less been his experience thus far with the horrible plant.

So, he pulls out a few shuriken, and in a flash, three shuriken go flying at the plant, shredding it, effectively destroying the thing.

[Oh, sweet freedom never felt so good~! And not having to totally mack on yet another person she barely knows is really great, too. Norma spares a solid salute to the piece of the poor mistletoe that fall away and into the river below before giving a jovial twirl on one foot. Ahaha, yes~! That's twice she didn't have to smooch anyone now and twice where her own points were unaffected! Today can resume being not crummy, yup.

He doesn't know what the statue of people recovering from being dead is. He knows that he, personally, is not feeling all that much better for being somewhat responsible. [Well indeed.

This is perhaps the most shocking thing Norma has come across since she has returned from the dead. Or, well, second most shocking. Actually finding out her penalty was one of the most hindering things the Malnosso could have saddled her with - the inability to read or write - was the most shocking (and heartbreaking) for her. Since then, she has only been out to work or to wander, doing the best she could with her disability. Even finding her way home sometimes was difficult, when the house numbers would blur and mesh together into blobs when she stared too hard.

Plus, she still feels terrible for not being able to really protect Kida. He had to see her fail, to die...how can she possibly live with herself knowing she saddled a good friend with such heavy baggage? If she were a bit better equipped for warfare like that, then...maybe...]
