☆ Twelfth Wish ☆ - [Action | Voice]
[It's a pretty ordinary day as ordinary days go. The weather's nice - sunny, warm, a calm wind...a very ordinary day indeed. And Norma is soaking up the peace and quiet in as much as she can. Dressed down in some dark skinny jeans (which she has learned as super freaking comfy) and a ruffly yellow top, she's laying on the grass by the bank of the southern lake. Usually, she'd be basking like this at the ocean, but that was just too far away this time, and she's feeling kind of lazy. Even the energetic ones have to buckle down and take a break to just relax once in a while.
She has a certain someone's hat (in black!) covering her face to keep off the sun and the insects that seem to be buzzing to life. The only bad thing about the springtime according to Norma. But, thankfully, not very many were out even now. She sighs under the hat crosses her hands behind her head to catch up on one hell of a nap.
...Until she hears a very peculiar buzzing in her ear. Thinking it to be a bug of some sort, she absently swats her hand at the sound, but it doesn't go away on little bit. It persists, and Norma frowns, using both hands now to swat the unyielding creature. Finally, she gets fed up and sits straight up, the hat flopping into her lap.]
OOOH, WILL YOU SHUT UP?! Some of us wanna take a nap in the sunshine, jeez!
[Yeah, that's all fine and dandy, miss, but there's not a damn thing around to be seen. In fact, the peculiar noise seems to be coming not from the flora or fauna, but from the lakefront. The water seems to be beckoning. Noisily. Or at least that's what it...seems like. Norma can't quite make out what the voice(?) really wants. If you could even call it a voice - kinda just an annoying noise.]
...Nessy? [No, no, can't be. Nerifes was back on her world, obviously. But wait, maybe it was one of those spirit thingies she heard about? Well, if that's right, then--] Jeez! It's about time! You're the water do-hickey person, right? I've been trying to get a hold of you for ever and you just wake me up like that?! Well, maybe I don't wanna talk anymore, how 'bout that? Not unless you got something good to say - or teach me or whatever. I could do with some water based eres under my belt.
[Later, after she's had her quip with Sona (who Norma's happily nicknamed So-Noisy),she opens her journal up as she dips her feet into the water of the lake.]
Uh, I don't usually ask for pointers on ere--uh, I mean...magic, but anyone who knows some good water spells or something, think you could give me a hand? I'm preeetty good with my elemental-based crystal eres, but I still don't know water, wind, and light. And just a little electricity.
I guess what I'm asking is if anyone's got magical talent, pipe up now, cuz I wanna learn more of it! Especially the ones I don't know! Oh, and I guess I could return the favor, too. I mean, if you wanna know some of what I know, I could give it a shot myself. Name's Norma by the way, for anyone who just got dumped here. Norma Beatty, expert treasure hunter and skilled eren in all aspects of offense, defense, and healing crystal eres, ta-daaah~!
And I'm cute, too. [Wink. ♥]

[SNORT. Oh, it takes all Norma can do not to laugh. Jay, you're such a stick in the mud - let her have some once in a while!]

[Norma pouts to her journal, sighing a little exasperatedly. Man, she thought she'd catch someone who could help. Oh well, maybe someone else will come along, if she's lucky.]
Well, I actually just finished talking with one of those spirity things! The water one, actually, who I've wanted to get in touch with for a while now - since the only water based crystal eres I know is Blizzard, which is more ice and snow instead of water, but I guess the technicality is that it's water since that's what ice and snow...is, y'know?
But I just wanna learn more crystal eres! The more spells I know under my belt, the better I can be in battle, right? And in this kinda place, I'm sure as heck gonna need it.

So as Norma yells suddenly a blue scaled girl arises out of the water, looking none too happy. Her features are longer than normal, such as her eyes, nose, mouth, fingers, and arms.
She uses her extra set of large wings to hover over the water that she just emerged from.]
You have not yet tried to call for me. I would have answered if you had. I have no intention of teaching any human anything. I do not know why you would think that.
[Action]
[WHAT IN THE NAME OF NERIFES?! AHSJKDL--
Norma screeches even louder than she did before, making a hilarious impression of this cat here before righting herself and staring at the water with wide eyes. What the hell was that?! She thought the spirits and stuff weren't supposed to have physical bodies or anything! Like...like, everyone said they were just voices and noises that "talk" to you somehow. Magically or whatever. Or maybe it's a monster - Norma wouldn't run it past Luceti to shove some kind of weird, reptilian, winged, water creature in the lake closest to her house. That'd just be her luck, yep.
So much for ordinary days.]
Wha...wha... [Ahem.] Please don't tell me you're the water spirit thing people've been talking about. [BECAUSE FUCK THAT NOISE, SHE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR YOU.]

The voice isn't one he's particularly used to, but it's not easy to forget, either. It's not her presence that baffles him, though.
Water do-hickey person?
It's obviously not him, since he's a little too far for them to see each other. So he picks up his pace and closes the distance between himself and the lake, and, sure enough, there's . . . Norma, it was. And she's saying some odd things.]
Who are you talking to?
action;
[Norma doesn't exactly recognize the voice at first, but she does recognize the face, even if she's only seen it briefly when the guy moved in some time ago. It's...uh...uhh...that guy. Yeah. 8|b She really does have to think up a good nickname for him soon, she can't just keep calling him "you", that's just rude!
Either way, she plunks her hat back on her head and stands up, brushing off dirt and grass from her clothes as she speaks.]
You just got her a little while ago, right? I dunno if you heard of them yet, but there's a bunch of these weird spirity things roaming around the village in different places. The one that just woke me up was the water one. Uh...think of it kinda like Nessy or Nelly, only not really! I mean, probably more like Nessy since this one's not all crazy-angry and stuff.

Uh...half and half. I mean, I've wanted to learn from this one for a while, but she woke me up, too. [SIGH. The tormented life of a teenager is hard, Marco.] But I guess I can't complain if I get some new crystal eres under my belt. Some water ones especially. Then I can move on to wind, lightning, and light, since that's the hardest.

[Light too, but most of her experience with cryas artes lies with wind, water and fire.]

[Man, there's a lot of different terms for magic in various places, aren't there? But Norma's heard this one word before, from several people - "artes". And those cryas artes sound pretty similar to crystal eres. Maybe this is the way to go, then? I mean, it seems they're also elemental based, too, from what Norma's gathering.]
Awesome! I can probably figure out some more lightningy crystal eres on my own, but water and wind's what I've wanted to learn for a while now. Thanks a lot, Drill Girl!

I can give you the basics, though I'm not sure how effective magic artes will be since you said you used something called crystal eres?
[Voice]
[Oh wow, jackpot! I mean, the people just keep pouring in, too, this is awesome. And kind of weird, too...another person who calls them "artes". Maybe they're from the same world? Whatever the case, this old guy's probably the way to go - he reminds Norma a lot of Will; a gasbag of information. At least this info's something she cares about, though!]
Yeah, we channel the eres - uh, magic I guess is the best way to call it - around or inside us through our bodies and to the tips of our fingers. That's what we erens - magic users - do. I mean, not much else than that, though. We still sometimes need to chant spells and concentrate and stuff. The stronger the spell, the longer we gotta cast, y'know? Low-rate crystal eres are the simplest, weakest, and fastest to cast. Those don't even require a chant, either.
But If you can teach me the basics, I'm sure I can figure something out. Translating stuff's been kiiinda what I've been doing for a long time.

So, two things come to mind me seeing you talk to yourself. One, you've gone crazy or two, you got an imaginary friend that you don't tell anyone about.
Action:
[Hey, who blocked out her su--oh, it's that guy. Raising a brow, Norma sits up and dusts herself off. Crazy? Excuse me? Haha...not gonna fly, thanks. Not after she was so rudely woke up by a noisy spirit. Alas, but she cannot throw water in his face after just one meeting with Sona, that'd be too good to be true. So, Norma just shrugs calmly.]
Whoops! Looks like you've discovered my little secret. Oh no, what ever will I do now?! [Nope, not elaborating which she means. Use your imagination.]
